  • The Only Cloud-Based Inventory Management Module Built Within a Dealer Management System (DMS) Delivers Powerful Benefits

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa., January 16, 2017 – Autosoft, Inc., a leading national dealer management system (DMS) provider, has introduced the second module in their next-generation DMS, Inventory Management, a robust web-based solution that provides dealerships with vehicle appraisal, inventory pricing, and digital marketing and merchandising functionality with mobile capabilities. Dealers can also access auction data from Manheim Market Reports and book values from Black Book®, NADA, and Kelley Blue Book®. The inventory bookout functionality gives dealers instant access to this data from the desking screen in Autosoft Sales and F&I.

    Other highlights include:

    • Mobile capabilities that create powerful efficiencies, like VIN scan, appraisal functionality, and image capture, available directly from inventory records.
    • An inventory pricing review section that lets dealers manage used inventory from both a book and market perspective. Dealers can set and update prices based on the most up-to-date book values, competitor listings, accounting costs, and days in stock.
    • Inventory marketing and merchandising that’s built directly within Autosoft DMS and manageable from one screen. Dealers can update pricing, add and edit images with watermarks and overlays, add detailed descriptions, and export to third-party websites.

Earlier this year, Autosoft launched their next-generation DMS. On this new cloud-based platform, dealerships will utilize all key solutions from one database, accessed by a single sign-on. Today, the platform offers Sales and F&I, collaboration tools, customer and vehicle records, dashboard and configurable reporting, mobile access, and a full customer knowledge center.

With the release of Inventory Management, Autosoft is introducing an embedded software applications marketplace that allows dealerships to customize their solution to their specific business needs. Autosoft is also in the process of developing the accounting, service, parts, and CRM aspects of the platform.

“A single platform has proven to enhance the customer experience as well as improve speed, productivity, and scalability for every department. It enables stronger decision-making since all staff have real-time access to the same data,” said Bryce Veon, President and CEO of Autosoft.

Additional benefits of a single platform include:

    • Faster transaction times that lead to staff efficiency and a higher level of customer satisfaction.
    • Enhanced communication tools that enable staff to engage other departments without having to leave the customer’s side.
    • Stronger permissions and control over what individual employees can see or do.
    • Easier and faster employee onboarding.
    • Easier-to-monitor work statuses (including task handoff, etc.) of all your workflows.
  • Integration Provides Seamless Connection Between Autosoft’s Dealership Management System and Black Book for Automotive Retailers

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA (January 25, 2018) — Black Book, a division of Hearst Business Media that provides industry-leading used vehicle valuation and residual value forecast solutions, announced today it has signed a partnership agreement with Autosoft, Inc., a leading national dealer management system (DMS) provider. Under the agreement, Black Book will integrate its vehicle valuation data into Autosoft’s DMS offering for dealers around the country.

Today, auto dealers use robust DMS systems to handle everything from inventory management, customer information, credit reports, finance and reporting documentation. With the integration of Black Book’s data, Autosoft’s dealer partners have access to accurate vehicle values when working with a customer during the trade appraisal process. Trade valuation can create an adversarial relationship with each customer, therefore having the right, accurate value can be incremental to the success of each customer transaction.

The trade appraisal process is one of many critical components in completing a vehicle purchase from a franchised or independent dealer. Results from a recent Black Book survey showed consumers feel a vehicle trade-in quote that’s far from expectations is the second-most likely scenario to kill a possible deal. Many consumers cited specific frustrations with the valuations they often receive from a dealer. 36% of those polled said their researched quote was $1001 – $1500 apart from the dealer’s offer; and another 27% said their quote was more than $1500 apart. Nearly half (47%) said they need the dealer’s offer to be between $501 – $1000 of their research quote for it to be acceptable.

“Our dealers rely on us for a complete end-to-end dealer management system that allows them to run their business seamlessly, efficiently and profitably,” said Autosoft Connect Program Director, Dale Novotniak. “With the integration of Black Book’s vehicle valuation data, our dealers can trust the fact that we’re giving them every opportunity to maximize their profit potential with access to the most accurate valuation data in the industry.”

“Today’s technology offerings are critical for every dealer looking to gain a competitive edge in their market, especially from an operational standpoint,” said Jared Kalfus, Senior Vice President of Sales at Black Book. “More importantly, having access to the right vehicle valuation data goes beyond a single transaction since it helps create a stronger, less adversarial relationship with each customer, opening the opportunity for future transactions with them, as well as their friends and family.”

  • Automotive Software Company Receives Nine Awards in 2017

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa., January 10, 2018 – Autosoft, Inc., a leading national dealer management system (DMS) provider, has been named the 8th Best Place to Work in PA in 2017 for the medium-sized company category. Autosoft has been honored as one of the top 100 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania for the past four years and has steadily moved up the list each year.

This award was provided by Team Pennsylvania Foundation in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal. For the past 18 years, this program has identified, recognized, and honored those companies who have made their employees a priority.

“Every year, Autosoft strives to further improve our workplace, and 2017 was no exception,” says Autosoft’s President and CEO, Bryce Veon. “We’re humbled and honored to be named the 8th Best Place to Work in Pennsylvania this year. This award emphasizes our commitment to our employees’ well-being, both inside and outside the office.”

Autosoft offers all employees many progressive benefits, including volunteer time off, tuition reimbursement, peer-to-peer bonuses, and wellness activities that generate company contributions to employees’ HSA accounts.

To be awarded this honor from Best Places to Work in PA, Autosoft was required to go through a six-month process analyzing their workplace policies, demographics, practices, and systems. Additionally, their employees were encouraged to take a detailed employee survey designed to measure their work environment, job satisfaction, and culture. That data was gathered, analyzed, and combined to determine the final ranking.

Autosoft has been recognized for eight other achievements in 2017. They received a Healthiest Employers of Western Pennsylvania award, were certified by Great Place to Work®, were named the Culture Leader of the Year, were honored with the Cigna Well-Being Award, won three Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Excellence, and received their third Highest Rated DrivingSales Dealer Satisfaction Award.

The awards honor western Pennsylvania’s most successful, innovative, and thought-leading technology companies.

“It’s an honor to be presented with the Culture Leader of the Year award,” said Autosoft President and CEO, Bryce Veon. “We recognize that having the best and brightest people, in combination with a comfortable and collaborative culture, is the most important driver of company success. Together, these traits allow Autosoft to perform at peak efficiency, drive innovation, and, as a result, exceed customer expectations.”

At the heart of Autosoft’s success are modern internal programs that reflect and reinforce the company’s underlying values and beliefs.
