Rytec® Introduces SmartSurround™ Advanced Detection & Alert System (Mar 07, 2022)

Las Vegas, NV - Rytec Corporation is introducing its newest advancement in high-performance door safety and awareness technology at NADA Show 2022, West Hall #4057W. SmartSurround™ is a patented, intuitive, object detection software and safety alert system – and will be standard on most Rytec Spiral® door models. By combining intelligent optical light curtains and high-intensity LED signaling lights, this advanced traffic recognition and safety system offers unparalleled awareness, detection, warning and signaling capabilities.

SmartSurround provides a visual cue and alerts traffic to door activity near the opening, while simultaneously communicating with the Rytec System 4® Door Controller. The integrated communication and advanced recognition technology adjust door movement and speed based on multiple traffic pattern scenarios. In addition, customizable, high-intensity LED light settings provide adjustable brightness control, color choice, timing and flash rates.

Another Rytec high-performance innovation, SmartSurround is ideal for high-traffic areas where both vehicles and pedestrians are present. With it, Rytec continues to better serve the needs of its customers, as well as improve upon the quality, performance and reliability of its high-speed product portfolio.
