MARKHAM, ONTARIO - BanaLogic is proud to showcase exciting system enhancements to its popular BODYGUARD vehicle damage defender system that helps users protect against fraudulent damage claims, at the 2023 NADA Show. The new product features improved system performance and extends BODYGUARD’s operating environment to outdoor and wet area installations. An extended height version takes the bird’s eye camera view from 7 to 9 ft above ground, ensuring full roof coverage of the taller commercial fleet traffic.
The extended version includes 4 additional cameras and full-height lighting providing superior coverage for the entire vehicle. The new patterned lighting design has uniform higher intensity lighting and provides even higher definition contour on scratches and dents than flat lighting systems.
Our current customers asked us to help protect them from erroneous claims that often emanated outside of their facility as well as near their wash bays and that becomes an engineering project when you compete with nature’s contribution of sunlight and water. “We must ensure that our light panels and cameras perform consistently in lesser controlled environments outside so they can still document the pre-existing damage our customers often get blamed for.”, says David Buckshaw, Global Product Manager.
New features include enhanced object detection that allows more vehicle traffic detection and pre-lighting to kick the lights on earlier for those customers who have some dark early morning intake lanes. Larger local hard drive storage capacity allows longer offline storage time in case of internet outages. Enhancements to the portal software include the ability to upload user photos and attach them to the vehicle record. For lease returns there is the ability to simply download all of the images and videos to a single return documentation package.
We are excited about the BODYGUARD brand trajectory because quite simply it solves a problem at a price point that makes sense. Not only does BODYGUARD help the bottom line, it can improve customer satisfaction by having the data necessary to change the discussion from finger pointing to an opportunity to reassure the customer their vehicle was taken care of while in your hands, or up-sell repair services. BODYGUARD has proved itself in the field by reducing customer complaints, mitigating customer damage claim risks, automating intake body damage documentation hence reducing labor cost, improving service intake efficiency, and improving overall customer service satisfaction.
The BODYGUARD team will be at NADA booth in Dallas, January 27-29 at booth #746, stop by for a demo and talk to our team and to see what’s new!
